Intelmail Variable Accumulator Folder (VAF)

Intelligently feeds and folds either a single A4 sheet or nest folds multiple A4 sheets

The Intelmail VAF is a high speed sheet feeder, Accumulator & Folder, providing the following key features:

• It can be used as either a standalone device or integrated to a host inserter
• Accumulate and fold capability
• It is one of the fastest devices of its type, with the ability to feed at up to 70,000 x A4 sheets per hour
• By reading a bar code, it will feed, accumulate and nest fold varying number of sheets per addressee
• The unique fold roller substance enables nest folding of up to 12 x A4 sheets to A5 or up to 7 x A4 sheets to DL
• It incorporates Ultrasonic Double Detection to ensure the integrity of a nested pack
• Once the nest folded item is delivered to the track of an inserter, further items can be added either generically or selectively to make up the final enclosed pack
• Self adjusting folder roller pressure for varying thickness
• Half fold, letter fold, nest fold, Z fold, no fold
• Ideal for transactional mail and selective enclosing
